Discfront

Terms of Service

Effective date: 2026-06-06

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Discfront, including the Discord bot, checkout flows, subscription tools, product delivery tools, payment-provider integrations, web pages, email notifications, dashboards, APIs, webhooks, accounting exports, support channels, and related services.

By accessing or using Discfront, creating or managing a Discfront-connected shop, connecting a payment provider, buying a Discfront platform plan, or authorizing Discfront in a Discord server, you agree to these Terms. If you use Discfront for a company, Discord server, community, or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization and that the organization is responsible for your use.

If a separate written agreement signed by Discfront applies to the same service, that written agreement controls over these Terms only for the conflicting subject matter.

2. Provider information and contracting party

Discfront is the service name. The contracting party for Discfront platform services is the Discfront legal entity, sole proprietorship, or other operator identified in the applicable order, invoice, account dashboard, signed agreement, public legal-notice page, or other written contracting record for your plan.

Legal, billing, privacy, Digital Services Act, security, and support notices may be sent to contact@discfront.com. Discfront may require notices to include the relevant Discord server id, account email, order reference, provider reference, and enough information to identify the affected service.

For required provider disclosures, Discfront relies on the legal-notice page, checkout page, invoice, account dashboard, signed agreement, or other contracting record associated with the service to provide legal name, geographic address, business-registration details, VAT details, and any required supervisory-authority details.

3. Who Discfront is for

Discfront is intended for Discord server owners, administrators, creators, operators, and businesses that want to sell or manage digital products, memberships, subscriptions, license keys, downloadable items, gated channels, and role-based access through their own Discord server.

If you buy something from a Discord server that uses Discfront, your purchase is from that server owner or seller, not from Discfront, unless Discfront is clearly identified as the seller of that specific item. Discfront does not control every seller's product, community, refund policy, support response, tax position, or legal compliance.

You must have the legal capacity and authority required to use Discfront. Discfront is not intended for children. Server owners are responsible for age-gating their own communities, products, and content where required.

4. Discfront's role

Discfront helps Discord server owners manage storefronts, products, access, payment-provider connections, checkout links, customer notifications, webhooks, branding, support workflows, and accounting exports.

Discfront is a platform and workflow service. Discfront is not a bank, payment processor, payment institution, electronic-money issuer, money transmitter, escrow provider, fiduciary, trustee, tax adviser, legal adviser, accounting firm, licensed accounting service, marketplace guarantor, merchant of record for server-owner products, or product seller for server-owner products.

Accounting ledgers, analytics, exports, summaries, and provider records supplied through Discfront are data tools only. Discfront does not provide accounting, bookkeeping, tax, legal, audit, or filing services, and Discfront does not guarantee that exported data is complete, error-free, tax-ready, or suitable for statutory filing. You are responsible for reviewing exported data against your own records, payment-provider records, and professional advice.

Discfront does not guarantee that any server owner, buyer, payment provider, Discord user, blockchain transaction, wallet, webhook endpoint, customer, or third-party service will perform as expected.

5. Release stage and service changes

Discfront may be offered in release-candidate, beta, early-access, controlled-launch, or general-availability stages. Access, onboarding, support capacity, provider availability, and feature availability may be limited, paused, changed, deprecated, withdrawn, or conditioned where needed for security, reliability, compliance, provider requirements, abuse prevention, or product development.

Features, limits, pricing, plan names, trial rules, provider availability, dashboards, APIs, exports, templates, and documentation may change as Discfront develops. You should not rely on unreleased, beta, roadmap, preview, or experimental functionality for critical operations unless Discfront expressly agrees in writing.

6. Accounts, Discord servers, and authority

You are responsible for:

You are responsible for all activity performed through your Discfront-connected server, including activity caused by your users, administrators, roles, configuration, products, provider accounts, credentials, webhooks, integrations, devices, or third-party services. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Discfront is not responsible for bugs, downtime, configuration mistakes, user mistakes, provider issues, data loss, failed delivery, or business impact connected to that activity.

7. Server-owner products, customers, and seller obligations

Server owners are responsible for the products, services, access, subscriptions, memberships, license keys, content, support, refunds, cancellations, disputes, chargebacks, taxes, accounting, compliance, customer claims, moderation, product descriptions, and legal obligations connected to their own shop.

You must not sell anything you do not have the right to sell. You must make accurate disclosures to your customers about the seller, product, price, taxes, recurring charges, refund policy, cancellation method, withdrawal rights, delivery limits, support channels, and any technical restrictions.

If you sell to consumers or regulated customer groups, you are responsible for mandatory consumer, cancellation, withdrawal, refund, disclosure, accessibility, age-gating, sanctions, export-control, tax, invoicing, accounting, and customer-support obligations that apply to your shop.

You are responsible for resolving customer complaints about your own products. Discfront may help route technical information, but Discfront does not become responsible for your products, customer promises, refunds, or legal duties by providing the platform.

8. Prohibited and restricted activity

You must not use Discfront for unlawful, deceptive, harmful, infringing, abusive, high-risk, regulated, or prohibited activity. Without Discfront's prior written approval, you must not use Discfront for products, services, communities, or transactions involving:

Discfront may reject, remove, limit, suspend, or require changes to products, links, branding, metadata, webhooks, checkout pages, servers, accounts, or integrations that create legal, security, provider, reputational, user-protection, or operational risk.

9. Payment providers, crypto payments, and third-party services

Discfront integrates with third-party services such as Discord, Stripe, BTCPay Server, Postmark, Cloudflare, DNS providers, hosting providers, proxy and security providers, wallet software, blockchain networks, card networks, banks, and other infrastructure providers.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms, policies, availability, fees, rules, risk controls, data practices, and technical limitations. You are responsible for complying with provider terms and maintaining your provider accounts in good standing. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Discfront is not responsible for third-party downtime, maintenance, outages, routing failures, DNS failures, proxy failures, rate limits, account restrictions, policy enforcement, degraded performance, provider data handling, or other third-party service behavior.

Payments settle through the configured provider account or wallet according to that provider's rules. Discfront does not guarantee payment approval, settlement time, settlement amount, tax calculation, exchange rate, payment-method availability, provider availability, chargeback outcome, dispute outcome, wallet behavior, blockchain confirmation, or provider account eligibility.

Crypto and blockchain transactions may be irreversible, volatile, delayed, underpaid, overpaid, or affected by network fees, wallet errors, exchange-rate movement, chain reorganizations, sanctions controls, and third-party infrastructure issues. Discfront does not custody crypto assets unless a separate written agreement expressly says otherwise.

10. Fees, plans, trials, billing, and taxes

Discfront plan terms, trial availability, included features, limits, and pricing may change before and after general availability.

Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise:

All prices are exclusive of taxes unless clearly stated otherwise. Discfront may calculate, collect, withhold, report, or remit taxes on Discfront platform fees where required. You are responsible for taxes, duties, reporting, invoicing, accounting, and customer tax obligations that apply to your own use of Discfront and your own sales.

11. Refunds, cancellations, and consumer withdrawal rights

For Discfront platform subscriptions, cancellation stops future renewal according to the applicable plan process but does not automatically refund past fees unless mandatory law, the checkout terms, or a signed written agreement requires a refund.

For server-owner products, the server owner is responsible for the refund, cancellation, withdrawal, support, and dispute policy. Discfront may provide tools to record or execute refunds through a provider, but the server owner remains responsible for deciding and funding refunds unless Discfront is clearly the seller of the specific item.

Consumers may have mandatory withdrawal, cancellation, refund, repair, replacement, price-reduction, conformity, or other rights that cannot be waived. Nothing in these Terms limits those mandatory rights. Where permitted by law, access to digital content or digital services may begin immediately after purchase, and withdrawal rights may be limited or lost once performance starts or digital content is supplied with the required consent and acknowledgement.

12. Service availability and support

Discfront is provided without any guaranteed uptime, support response time, delivery time, processing time, recovery time, or error-free operation unless a separate written service level agreement is signed.

Discfront may be interrupted, delayed, unavailable, degraded, rate-limited, or restricted because of maintenance, updates, Discfront system issues, provider outages, Discord outages, payment-provider issues, DNS issues, CDN or proxy issues, network problems, hosting issues, abuse prevention, security controls, data migrations, configuration errors, or events outside Discfront's reasonable control. This may affect Discfront web pages, APIs, checkout result pages, payment handoff pages, email delivery, Discord delivery, webhook delivery, and subdomains such as public website, API, and payment-related domains.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Discfront is not liable for unavailability, downtime, delay, interruption, degraded performance, failed routing, failed page load, timeout, lost connectivity, or other service failure caused by Discfront systems, your systems, third-party services, infrastructure providers, internet routing, or events outside Discfront's reasonable control, except where liability cannot legally be limited.

Support is provided through the channels Discfront makes available from time to time. Discfront does not guarantee that support will resolve every issue, recover every record, reverse every provider decision, or prevent every business impact.

13. Data, records, exports, and backups

Discfront uses reasonable technical and organizational measures for the current launch stage, but no system is perfectly secure or error-free.

You are responsible for:

Discfront is not your backup service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Discfront is not responsible for lost revenue, lost profits, lost customers, lost data, corrupted records, failed exports, deleted products, lost license keys, lost webhook deliveries, lost access history, unavailable payment/accounting records, or failure to keep independent records.

Discfront may retain payment-provider events, webhook payloads, provider identifiers, checkout metadata, event logs, delivery logs, normalized accounting records, and security records where reasonably needed for duplicate-event protection, replay protection, reconciliation, troubleshooting, support, security, accounting exports, tax documentation, dispute handling, provider compliance, or legal claims.

14. Webhooks, APIs, and integrations

If you configure webhook endpoints, APIs, automations, or other integrations, you are responsible for endpoint security, availability, correctness, retries, duplicate handling, payload validation, signature verification, rate limiting, access control, logging, monitoring, and processing in your connected systems.

Discfront may disable, throttle, skip, retry, rotate, or stop webhook, API, or integration access where endpoints fail, appear unsafe, violate limits, expose secrets, or risk harming Discfront or others.

Discfront does not guarantee that every webhook, email, role update, access change, export, notification, API response, or provider event will be delivered instantly, exactly once, in order, or forever. Your systems must tolerate retries, duplicates, delays, missed messages, idempotency conflicts, and provider outages.

15. Branding, content, and license to operate

Premium branding and other reviewed branding features are subject to Discfront review and approval. Discfront may reject, remove, disable, or require changes to branding that is unsafe, misleading, infringing, illegal, broken, hostile to users, technically unsuitable, or inconsistent with Discfront's security or provider requirements.

You must have all rights needed for any logo, banner, icon, CSS, image, text, metadata, product description, download, file, license key, URL, or brand material you submit. You grant Discfront a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, process, transmit, resize, cache, scan, review, secure, and otherwise use that material as needed to provide, protect, support, and improve Discfront.

You must not submit secrets, private keys, unlawful personal data, sensitive data, or third-party confidential information unless the submission is necessary, lawful, and authorized.

16. Content moderation, illegal-content notices, and platform safety

Discfront may use manual review, automated checks, provider signals, abuse reports, customer complaints, payment-provider alerts, Discord signals, security tools, and legal notices to detect unsafe, illegal, infringing, deceptive, or Terms-violating use.

Where Discfront hosts or displays information provided by a user, any person may report allegedly illegal content or illegal activity by emailing contact@discfront.com with: the exact URL or location, a sufficiently substantiated explanation, the legal or rights basis for the report, the reporting person's name and email unless anonymity is legally protected, and a good-faith statement that the report is accurate and complete.

Discfront may remove, disable, restrict, demote, suspend, preserve, or report content, accounts, products, payments, or servers where Discfront reasonably believes action is required or appropriate for legal compliance, user protection, provider requirements, security, or Terms enforcement. Where required and feasible, Discfront will provide notice and a reasoned explanation using the contact information available.

17. Technical acceptable use

You must not:

18. Suspension and termination

Discfront may suspend, restrict, disable, remove, or terminate access immediately if:

You may stop using Discfront at any time. Ending Discfront access does not cancel your separate obligations to customers, providers, tax authorities, Discord, payment processors, or other third parties.

After termination, Discfront may retain records where reasonably needed for legal compliance, security, accounting, dispute handling, abuse prevention, provider reconciliation, or legal claims.

19. Intellectual property and feedback

Discfront and its software, design, documentation, branding, names, logos, service content, workflows, and related technology are owned by Discfront or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.

You keep ownership of your own submitted shop content and branding materials, subject to the rights needed for Discfront to host, display, process, review, secure, and operate them as part of the service.

If you send ideas, suggestions, reports, or feedback, Discfront may use them without restriction or obligation to compensate you, unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.

20. Electronic communications

Discfront may send service, billing, security, legal, provider, product, and support communications by email, Discord, dashboard notice, webhook, or other electronic means. You must keep contact information accurate and monitor the relevant channels.

Electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement that communications be in writing to the maximum extent permitted by law.

21. Disclaimers

Discfront is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Discfront disclaims all warranties, guarantees, and representations not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, error-free operation, revenue results, tax correctness, accounting correctness, provider availability, successful payment collection, customer conversion, role-delivery accuracy, webhook delivery, data recoverability, or fitness for regulated use.

You use Discfront at your own risk and must verify that the service fits your business, accounting, legal, tax, security, privacy, consumer-protection, accessibility, and technical requirements.

22. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Discfront and its owners, operators, contractors, suppliers, and affiliates are not liable for:

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Discfront's total aggregate liability for all claims is limited to the greater of:

Claims must be brought within one year after the event giving rise to the claim, unless a longer period is required by mandatory law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence where it cannot be limited, death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable, mandatory consumer rights, mandatory data-protection rights, or other non-waivable rights.

23. Indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Discfront harmless from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from:

This indemnity does not apply to consumers to the extent prohibited by mandatory law.

24. Mandatory rights and severability

Some laws may give consumers, data subjects, or other users rights that cannot be waived by contract. These Terms do not limit mandatory rights that cannot legally be limited.

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, that part will be interpreted or limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the rest remains in effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.

25. Data protection

Discfront's Privacy Policy explains how personal data is processed. You must comply with privacy, data-protection, electronic-communications, and customer-notice laws that apply to your shop and users.

Server owners are responsible for having a valid legal basis, providing required notices, honoring rights requests, managing customer communications, and entering into any required data-processing terms where they decide how and why shop/customer data is processed.

You must not submit special-category data, children's data, criminal-offence data, health data, financial-account secrets, private keys, or government identity documents to Discfront unless the submission is necessary, lawful, authorized, and expressly supported by Discfront for that use case.

26. Data Processing Terms

This section applies where Discfront processes personal data on behalf of a server owner as processor or service provider. It is intended to supplement, not replace, any separate signed data processing agreement.

The subject matter is the provision of Discfront's commerce, access-management, notification, webhook, provider-integration, support, security, and accounting-export services. The duration is the period during which Discfront provides the service and any later period needed for deletion, return, backup rotation, legal compliance, security, provider reconciliation, dispute handling, or legal claims.

The nature and purpose of processing are to operate Discfront, process shop configuration, process purchases and subscriptions, provide role/access delivery, send service emails, process provider events, generate exports, secure the service, prevent abuse, provide support, and comply with law. Data subjects may include server owners, administrators, buyers, subscribers, Discord users, support contacts, and payment-provider contacts. Data types may include the categories described in the Privacy Policy.

Where Discfront acts as processor, Discfront will:

The server owner remains responsible for determining whether Discfront is suitable for the intended processing, giving lawful instructions, maintaining required notices and records, handling customer rights requests where the server owner is controller, and ensuring that its own use of Discfront complies with applicable law.

27. Changes

Discfront may update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms apply when posted unless a later effective date is stated. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

Material changes for paid users will be communicated where required by law or where reasonably practical, but Discfront may make immediate changes for security, legal, provider, abuse-prevention, or operational reasons.

28. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Norwegian law, except where mandatory consumer protection law gives you additional rights or requires another governing law.

Before bringing a formal claim, you agree to contact contact@discfront.com and give Discfront a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue informally, unless urgent relief or mandatory law requires otherwise.

Disputes must be brought in the competent courts of Norway unless mandatory law requires another venue.

29. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without Discfront's prior written consent. Discfront may assign or transfer these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, change of control, or operation of law.

30. Entire agreement and survival

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, plan terms, checkout terms, provider requirements, and any signed written agreement form the agreement between you and Discfront for the service. Headings are for convenience only.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including payment obligations, tax obligations, records, data retention, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law, disputes, and any terms needed to resolve pending issues.

31. Contact
